Sherry Yetter is a trained, certified, and credentialed Victim Advocate and Subject Matter Expert in the areas of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment. She has degrees in Social Science, Education and advanced degrees in Organizational Leadership and Servant Leadership.

     Sherry and her husband, Gregg, formed Sunflower Books LLC., so that Sherry could follow her dream to publish a children's book. Little did she know that it would blossom into being able to provide opportunities for others to publish their dreams by providing the venue for others to share their voices and their stories  through written word.

     Sherry is a proud Mom and “Gigi” to both the human and furry baby varieties. She is married to a newly retired United States Marine and has spent 30+ years teaching, training, and helping service-members and their families build self and family centered resiliency.

     Sherry was born and raised in Iowa and she credits her wits, gumption, resilience and ability to persevere in the face of overwhelming obstacles to her upbringing and especially those who taught her how to live, love, laugh, fish, be kind, do chores, climb trees, love roses, and, most importantly, to always to be respectful.

     Sherry published her first book, "Did You Know? The Rainbow Edition" in October of 2020. She will publish her next two books, "I ASK" A Book About Consent in April of 2021 and the next edition of the Did You Know Book Series, "Did You Know? The Baby Bug Edition" in summer 2021.
